barrett and brandon
For a late October wedding, I’m never sure if nature will cooperate in order for me to use blooms from the farm. For Barrett and Brandon, I was able to use some of my favorite dahlias in the bridal bouquet, along with pink gomphrena, celosia, cosmos and foraged buckberries. The bright pink was just the thing against the green bridesmaids dresses. Seasonal local foliage included smokebush, nandina, privet and silverberry. Adding some roses, and other textural blooms, and just a touch of eucalyptus made for a nice balance of “texture and fluff”. The day was perfect, even with rain, and the decision to move the location of the ceremony indoors was not an issue at this gorgeous venue.
